FUNCTION
Drives loads with current up to 3 Amps


  • When the input (Vin) rises above 1.4 volts, the Darlington transistor switches on, connecting -Vout to 0v

NOTES:

The load (output device) can be powered from a DC supply up to 50v. When using a different supply from the circuit +V then do NOT connect the IN+V to the rest of the circuit and connect the load +V to the OUT+V.

  • Driving bulbs, lamps
  • Driving motors and solenoids
  • Drives any device up to 3 Amps
WARNING:
When driving loads over 1 Amp, the heatsink may get warm and even too hot to touch. Take care not to receive burns in extreme conditions. If the load is short circuit, (-Vout to +V) and a high current battery is used for the supply, the case can explode outwards. Always seek expert advice when driving high current loads and wear safety goggles when testing circuits.
