An electronic Thermometer that has 12x 3mm red LEDs to display the temperature from 8 to 32 degrees C, in 2 degree steps. When 2 LEDs are on, the reading is in between, thus giving a resolution of 1 degree C. When the temperature is above or below the scale 8-30 the top or bottom LED flashes.
The circuit uses a thermistor to detect the temperature at the base of the PCB and a PIC micro-controller to function.
The power consumption is between 2.5 and 4.5mA. Using alkaline AA batteries, they will last for up to 6 months.
Power Supply: 3v (2x AA, not included)
The kit contains PCB and all components including battery holder. Requires 2 x AA batteries - not included in kit.
Kits sold as single, 10x pack and 50x pack.
