FUNCTION
Switches an output on when Vin rises above a reference voltage, set by VR1.


  • The input voltage is compared against the reference voltage set by the user via a variable resistor.

NOTES

  • This circuit uses an operational-amplifier IC
  • The output from the op-amp is buffered with a transistor meaning the output will be go low when Vin reaches a preset level
  • Shorting the SIL pins will add some hysterisis, creating a Schmitt trigger effect.
