This module is paired with the IR Receiver module. There are 2 digital inputs that are activated using the buttons or inputs at the block connector.
The data is encoded and transmitted into a 38KHz carrier wave generated by the transmitter. Further channels can be addressed using the jumper onboard to select up to 3 pairs of outputs. The receiver setting must match the transmitter.
The data is transmitted via infra-red light from the LED.
This module can be used with just the receiver or as part of a bigger project using the BLOX design system.
