A CMOS astable that produces a 40KHz sqaure wave and drives an ultrasonic transducer. This is designed to be used with the Ultrasonic Detector module. The pair of modules are ideal for movement detection and monitoring doorways and small indoor areas.
There is a 'Reset' control input that will stop the astable when connected low. This enables modulation of data, using the ultrasonic signal as a carrier.
Connection is via block connectors, for the supply voltage and input signal.
This module can be used as part of a bigger project using the BLOX design system.
