This sensor is suited to slotted wheels to determine speed and as a limiy switch for robotics or CNC.
The detector is a photo-diode offering a fast response time. The output goes high when the IR beam is broken. The output is unbuffered.
The IR emitter and detector are housed in a black plastic casing. Connection is via block connectors, for the supply voltage and output.
This module is most suited as part of a bigger project using the BLOX design system.
