This module is a dual digit synchronous counter, meaning all counters and cascading counter count at the same moment, avoiding rippling of signals through counter stages.
The reset input holds the counter to zero when high, and the Carry Out signal acts as a clock pulse for the next counter to create multi-digit displays. The 'Latch' input will freeze the display while still counting inputs, very useful for lap timing.
Connection is via block connectors, for the supply voltage, inputs and outputs. Connections are configured so modules can be connected side by side, giving a multi-digit display,
This module can be used alone or as part of a bigger project using the BLOX design system.
