An electronic Thermometer that has 12x 3mm red LEDs to display the temperature from 8 to 32 degrees C, in 2 degree steps. When 2 LEDs are on, the reading is in between, thus giving a resolution of 1 degree C. When the temperature is above or below the scale 8-30 the top or bottom LED flashes.
The circuit uses a thermistor at the base of the PCB, to detect the temperature and a PIC micro-controller to measure the temperature and control the LEDs.
The power consumption is between 1.75mA and 3.5mA. Using alkaline batteries (not included), they should last months.
The kit contains PCB and all components including battery holder. Requires 2 x AA batteries - not included in kit.
Kits sold as single, x10 pack and x50 pack.
